The rooms are attractive, large and comfortable (including the mattresses and pillows!). Great hot showers. The neighborhood is great—so many restaurants within easy walking distance, and we felt comfortable exploring into the evening (though we were never out very late). The San Antonio neighborhood is also an easy 10-minute-ish walk. If you are sensitive to sound, ask for an interior room. We stayed here at the start and end of our trip, and the first room was an interior room and very quiet. When we came back at the end of our travels, we were given a room that faced the street and it was very noisy (not helped by the fact that it was a Friday night, and it's a lively neighborhood). The next morning, the staff graciously accommodated our request to change rooms (and luckily there was a quieter one available) and that night we slept like logs. This is really a lovely place to stay and an exceptional value. If I was going back to Cali, I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

I was absolutely happy about the spacious and bright room which allows you to stay in (and still feel good and comfy) even though there is a bad weather outside. Very helpful staff, but don´t expect perfect English (it´s better to have translation app ready). Very good WiFi connection everywhere in the hotel. The rooms were very large and comfortable and great for longer term stays with a working area. Of the 6 different hotels I stayed at during my trip, the beds here were by far the most comfortable. Since I was traveling in and out of Cali on multiple solo trips, I was grateful that the staff let me keep my extra luggage at the hotel for days while I was away. When I returned they were all happy to see me and asked all about my adventures.
